Body preventative talks with our preschool kids
Last year, we received a visit from Halli Trust, a remarkable non-profit organization in the Helderberg Region 🦊
They conducted a prevention workshop with our 110 preschool children at Sir Lowry's Pass Primary School. This workshop was specifically designed to protect children from sexual abuse. 🛡️ In a playful manner, the children were taught that certain body zones should not be touched by others 🚫🤚
Knowledge is powerful. If we can teach a child what is acceptable and what is not, how to say "No," defend themselves, and communicate if they find themselves in a situation or have been in one, it can change their lives 🙅✨
There was singing and dancing, and the children learned a lot while having a great time. 🎶🕺💃
