Laptops for the High School students
Information technology has also found its way into the schools of South Africa.
Einfachhelfen has been supporting children up to grade 7 for many years at the primary school of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village.
A few years ago we initiated an additional sponsorship program to support talented and motivated pupils, who show extraordinary potential, on their way through high school.
Examples of such students are Maryke and Selma, both are currently studying at the University of the Western Cape in their second year and act as role models for the other sponsored children.
To give our sponsored children in grade 11 and 12 a fair chance, we would like to equip them with laptops. These laptops would be sponsored by us and given to the children to accompany them through grade 11 and matric, all the way until they finish university. Once the children have completed their education, the laptops will be passed down to the next generation of students.
We are aware that this is a considerable financial expense and are therefore grateful for any support. Even small donations can have a big impact on the lives of these children.
