Introducing: Zoleka Shihepo! 💛
“I want our kids to have hope and a better future for themselves - something I lacked growing up. Our community faces many struggles with poverty and substance abuse and the children often lack the attention and care they deserve. Seeing them smile despite these hardships is why I love my job. I am grateful to be part of the meaningful work we do at Einfachhelfen.” With over a decade of experience at Sir Lowry’s Pass Primary, Zoleka now serves as the Head of Assistant Teachers. Her role extends beyond the classroom: she works closely with parents in order to better understand the students and their individual circumstances. Additionally, she coordinates the operations of our vital swimming project for Grade R students 4 days a week.
