With over a decade of experience at Sir Lowry's Pass Primary, I now serve as the Head of Assistant Teachers. My role extends beyond the classroom: I work closely with parents in order to better understand the students' and their individual circumstances. Additionally, I coordinate the operations of our vital swimming project for Grade R students 4 days a week.

I want our kids to have hope and a better future for themselves - something I lacked growing up. Our community faces many struggles with poverty and substance abuse and the children often lack the attention and care they deserve. Seeing them smile despite these hardships is why I love my job
